His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz launched many humanitarian initiatives, which included multiple social, charitable and development activities.

Diverse as such, these initiatives need an administration to run their activities and supervise the implementation of their objectives. Therefore, the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Foundation for Humanitarian Development was established in accordance with the provisions of charitable societies and institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued by Cabinet Resolution No. 107 dated 25/06/1410—23/01/1990, and based on the Minister of Social Affairs’ decision No. 59933 on 13/06/1430—07/06/2009.

According to the founding decision, the Foundation aims to implement development programs and projects related to humanitarianism so as to serve the community. Since its inception, the Foundation managed to execute several charitable and developmental initiatives locally and internationally. These have made a great success and had positive influences that were highly acclaimed.
